Summary The Pellet program, operating under the Board of Review, currently has 3 accredited independent third-party agencies and 5 accredited laboratories. The Pellet program operates to monitor adherence to the requirements of the Pellet Fuels Institute (PFI) Standard Specification for Residential/Commercial Densified Fuel and the PFI Residential/Commercial QA/QC Handbook. The ALSC Residential/Commercial Densified Fuel Policy and Residential/Commercial Densified Fuel Enforcement Regulations implement this program.
The Board of Review discharges this function pursuant to an agreement with the Pellet Fuels Institute and the ALSC Residential/Commercial Densified Fuel Policy and Residential/Commercial Densified Fuel Enforcement Regulations.
